Diese Woche hat die neue Reihe der Stanford “Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders” Serie begonnen. Den Anfang macht Randy Komisar, Partner bei Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB). KPCB ist ein Silicon Valley Venture Capital Unternehmen, das durch frühe Investitionen in Unternehmen wie zum Beispiel Amazon, AOL, Google, and Sun Microsystems bekannt geworden ist. Randy Komisar ist Entrepreneur, Manager, Berater und Buchautor. Er war unter Anderem CEO bei LucasArts Entertainment und Crystal Dynamics sowie Mitgründer von Claris Corporation. Im neuesten Podcast der Stanford Entrepreneurship Corner spricht er über Ideen aus seinem neuen Buch Getting to Plan B: Breaking Through to a Better Business Model.

While Plan A may begin the backbone on which an entrepreneurial idea is hinged, succinct data gathering and constant market evaluation more often lead to profit with the next idea in line. The tech sector breeds innovation, says KPCB partner and frequent speaker Randy Komisar, and to do so it is required to accept the numerous fits and starts of the start-up.
